Leave a Legacy

As we enjoy our surroundings and the many blessings bestowed on us by a loving God, it is not easy to talk about “when we are gone.” Yet, an estate plan or bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift be made to family, friends or Lutheran Ministries of Mercy and our affiliate partners Filling Home of Mercy, Luther Home of Mercy and Lutheran Social Services.

  • Remembering us: Often in the obituaries we read it says “please consider a gift to.” We would be honored if you remembered us as a place for loved ones to leave a memory of you. Memorials and gifts of honor bring comfort to those you leave behind and at the same time, provide immediate assistance.
  • Charitable gift planning: These gifts involve the spiritual stewardship process of looking at your financial situation with a trusted advisor. When you make a beneficiary designation, IRA rollover, or bequest, we will ensure that we will carry out your plan according to your wishes. Please let us know if you have remembered us in this way so that we can continue to provide up-to-date information on our programs and services. Connecting to you now gives us an opportunity to say thank you today!
  • Other gifts to consider: Gifts of stock, gifts from Donor Advised Funds and Charitable Gift Annuities are donations that each of our affiliates can help you make all year long. Restricted to your favorite program or used for the good of the organization, these gifts make an immediate impact and, in some cases, provide you with a benefit too.

Throughout your life you have been a significant blessing to us.  May God continue to bless you as you make decisions for your family and our community. To make your gifts known to us or to seek additional information, please contact:
