Lutheran Ministries of Mercy
Following an extensive search process which began in November of 2016, the Board of Directors of Lutheran Ministries of Mercy (LMM} has selected its next President. At a special meeting held on April 3, 2017, the LMM Board unanimously supported the recommendation of its Executive Committee, naming Terri Rodriguez to succeed Pastor Don Wukotich as President and Chief Executive Officer of Lutheran Ministries of Mercy. Terri will assume these duties effective May 1, 2017.
Terri is no stranger to our ministries, having served Luther Home of Mercy (LHM) in various leadership roles for more than two decades - most recently as Vice President, responsible for overall management of the entire LHM program. Embracing Luther Home's core values, Terri has consistently advocated for the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, participating in local, state and national consortiums. Terri received her graduate degree in Public Administration from the University of Toledo. A Certified Fund Raising Executive and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Terri also holds undergraduate degrees in human services, law enforcement and social work. An Ohio native, Terri resides in Sylvania, Ohio with her husband, Arnulfo and daughter, Maria.
Those close to LMM are aware that I am approaching retirement with a mixture of feelings, knowing that I will dearly miss the day to day challenge and glory of these wonderful ministries. With regard to Terri's appointment as our new President, I have no mixed feelings. I've known Terri for more than twenty-five years; and in that time have experienced her as an outstanding and visionary leader with a heart for ministry. Please join me in welcoming Terri into this new position, and encouraging her leadership with prayers and all supports necessary to advancing the mission of Lutheran Ministries of Mercy.
